Full Internship Company Presentation

1. Go Big: 4-hour Delivery Windows – User Opinions (July 3 – August 8)

  • Problem: Users may be unclear on when they would opt for a four-hour delivery window without incentives, making it difficult for Shipt to design flexible delivery options.

  • Solution: Conducted user research to understand willingness to pay and contextual preferences, providing recommendations to optimize delivery window offerings.

2. Circle 360 Landing Page – User Opinions (July 2 – August 2)

  • Problem: Users had limited understanding of Target Circle 360, including its no-price-markup promise and the Target/Shipt relationship, leading to confusion or hesitation to sign up.

  • Solution: Gathered user feedback on comprehension and motivations, highlighting gaps and informing landing page content improvements to clarify messaging and drive adoption.

3. Shipt Gig Worker Onboarding Journey Map (June 2 – June 18)

  • Problem: The end-to-end onboarding process for new Shipt shoppers lacked clear visibility into pain points, emotions, and goals, limiting opportunities to improve the experience.

  • Solution: Mapped the onboarding journey, capturing user emotions, quotes, and goals to identify pain points and recommend enhancements for smoother onboarding.

4. Comparing Competitor Onboarding & Education for Gig Workers (June 18 – July 2)

  • Problem: Shipt lacked comparative insights into how other major grocery delivery platforms acquire and educate gig workers, making it challenging to benchmark or improve its process.

  • Solution: Conducted a competitive analysis to identify best practices and gaps, providing actionable recommendations to enhance Shipt’s onboarding and education experience.
